Good to Go Veteran Shelter

This program is designed to provide “built in” peer support, and integrated case management to homeless individuals and families that have devoted their lives to serving in the U.S. Military. This program operates with our partnerships which include: VA, Sam- Fit and other providers in the community. All of the Veterans enrolled in this program have a FREE 6 month gym membership to Sam FIT.
Also, weekly Veteran’s Advisory meetings are conducted to promote: camaraderie, goals and promote healthy outlets for Veteran’s in the community. Along with Peer Support and Case Management, Veteran’s who are in this program are also enrolled in Grant Per Diem housing.
(GPD) Grant Per Diem is a housing program from the VA that provides wraparound services while the homeless veteran is in housing. This provides a way for HUD VASH to get involved with the Veterans- to help link them to employment, education and permanent housing.
The goal of “Good 2 Go” it to help the Veteran gain the following: employment, coping skills, income and permanent housing. This is a program that has a diverse group of Veterans from all walks of life. The one thing they all have in common, is that they all signed the dotted line.
