Food Provided for Meals
Community Outreach participates in the Oregon food bank Network, working to eliminate hunger and its root causes.
We operate three in-house food banks to meet clients needs:
- Food for clients staying in Community Outreach housing, as a supplement to food stamps.
- Food for clients in long-term transitional housing, as a supplement to food stamps.
- Food supplement for Homeless Emergency Services clients (at-risk or homeless clients not staying in
Community Outreach housing) for use in our Community Kitchen.
Emergency food boxes: available from 2-9pm Mon-Fri, and 9am-9pm Sat & Sun. Emergency food boxes are available holidays and weekends, when other
food banks are closed. Food boxes are available to an
individual once every 30 days.
