Our Services

Medical/Dental Clinics
Beginning with one clinic per week in 1972, Community Outreach has grown to now provide an average of 20 clinics each month in two locations. We provide limited access to acute outpatient care, diabetes education, physical therapy, psychiatric services, lab and radiology tests, and prescription medications to uninsured community members.

Nature-Based Childcare
Mari’s Place, Community Outreach’s nature-based childcare center, supports and nurtures children who come from families with a history of domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, and/or homelessness.

Day Services
Clients accessing our Day Services have access to: showers, kitchen, food pantries, phone, mail and message service, information and referral, document storage, and medical clinics for the uninsured.

Food Provided for Meals
Community Outreach participates in the Oregon Food Bank Network, working to eliminate hunger and its root causes. Operating five food banks to meet our clients’ needs, Community Outreach provides food for community members, those staying in shelter, and clients accessing our community kitchen.

Community Outreach’s Transformational Housing Program provides on-site housing for men, women and families. While in housing, clients receive direct case management services, access to mental health and addiction treatment services, and life skills training.

Case Management
Case Management is a key service offered to all clients in our Transitional Housing Program and those in our Alcohol & Drug Abuse Treatment Program. Case management is a client-centered, goal-oriented process for assessing clients’ needs and helping them obtain the services needed to overcome barriers to housing, employment, and helping clients achieve long-term self-sufficiency.

Crisis Intervention
Community Outreach operates a 24-hour call-in crisis intervention and information and referral service. This service offers crisis intervention for emotional problems, suicide, domestic violence, drug abuse, runaways, mental illness, and information and referral to other community services.

Outpatient Mental Health
Our Mental Health Program provides outpatient treatment services to low-income and homeless men, women, and families. Our services include individual and group counseling for adults and families.

Treatment Programs
Our treatment programs include: Alcohol & Drug Abuse Treatment, Domestic Abuse Intervention, and Domestic Violence Services.
