At Community Outreach, we help families begin to repair
their lives. Our family shelter is designed to meet two basic goals: to
provide a safety net—shelter and basic needs—to homeless families as a
first step in getting off of the streets, and to provide concentrated,
temporary assistance to help families make a permanent transition from
homelessness to stability. The Transitional
Housing Program is the next step in a comprehensive approach to
addressing the needs of homeless families.
